Cool Runnings

No, I’m not joining a bobsled team, but I did get to watch the movie the other night which was quite awesome!  In other news, I suppose I should explain why it’s been a while since my last post.  Last week, after my running and other exercises my leg started tightening up and feeling extremely sore (to the point where I was having a hard time walking to class).  So I decided to take a week off from running, but now I am back and in record time! I got one step closer to making my 5k goal and set my record!

Workout Song of the Day: “Waking Up” by One Republic

Absolutely love this song.  My interpretation of it is that it is about renewal and coming into your own with what’s around you. I finally am starting to feel like my life is normalizing to being back in Minnesota.  Make sure you keep listening the last 2:30 are my favorite part!

  1. You’re an inspiration!

Check out my blog if you like; I’m trying to get feedback: http://thetortoiseruns.wordpress.com/

It’s new, but I’m focusing on my training and experiences as a runner, as well as giving any meagre advice I can. Thanks!

I can’t wait for the day when I can run long distances. You truly are an inspiration.

    • Thank you, I truly appreciate that and you are an inspiration to me to. I know you can overcome the challenges in your life and you will definitely get to the point where you can run long distances. All it takes are small steps and belief 🙂
