Weigh Day #42


Total beginning weight: 296.3 lbs

Last week’s weight: 194.3 lbs

Current weight: 197 lbs

Total lost: 99.3 lbs

Percentage of beginning weight: 33.5%

Weely total lost: +2.7

Reasons why gain or loss

Well this is incredibly frustrating.  I can’t seem to get a hold on this increase and now have a net total loss of less than 100 pounds!  I can only speculate on some of the reasons for these gains.  1) I started a new more intense weightlifting program after not doing weights for a while 2) I have been eating too late in the night and 3) I am going out for beers after classes too often.  I am going to try to curb 2 and 3 and be conscious of 1.  Hopefully, the weight will start to go down again.  Stay tuned for next week’s weigh in!

  1. I wouldn’t worry about it too much. I am sure at 197, you look thinner than me with all that running you have been doing.

    Plus, this was a holiday week. 3 pounds isn’t much compared to my massive 10 pound gain. 😀

    • I appreciate the comment, although it is a bit concerning as that is an 8 pound gain over 3 weeks! I am keeping close track of it and it seems to be heading downwards so that is good news 🙂 I’m sure you are looking great, I still have 20 pounds to get to where you’re at now!
