Reasons why gain or loss

This is extremely frustrating as I feel I’ve done everything right this week. I ran a 10k, have been eating good foods in a healthy way.  My only guess is that my body is trying to find a weight to be stable at, however I am not ready for that.  I will be trying to come up with a new exercise regimen that will kick-start losing weight again.  The upside is that at the beginning of this week I was weighing 196.8 lbs after eating too much over the weekend, so I have lost 2.5 lbs of that.
