Fastest Mile Pace: 8:00/mi

Workout Song of the Day: “Rosanna” by Toto
I’m singing this song with my acappella group!  Originally, I didn’t know what to think of it but now I can’t stop listening to it.  This is a really cool version of it, the first 1:30 they make it jazzy.

Quote of the Day:

“Remember, just because something doesn’t last forever, doesn’t mean it wasn’t worth your while.”

This quote is so applicable to different areas in life whether love, school, work, projects, weight loss etc..,

Sometimes we are so risk averse that if we don’t know something is a “For sure” (nothing ever is) we won’t go for it.  This provides a different perspective.  It’s not just the typical if you do nothing you’ll get nothing quote.  No, to me it says that even if something doesn’t work out the way you want it to, it still provides some value.  As they say, people and things come and go throughout your life but it’s the ones that continue to be there for you that matter.  Everything else is just a valuable life experience.

  1. Nice job! Above 40? Ha! I’ll be bundled up inside doing no workouts when it gets that cold here. Kudos to running in that. 😀

    • Haha I’m Minnesotan, I’ve gotta be used to the cold at some point 🙂 You are probably smarter to not go outside! There are some people here that bike through the winter…
