Today was my first official bike ride in Denver! Let me tell you it was awesome! It’s the first time this entire week where I have just felt completely free. For an hour, I didn’t really think of anything other than being outside and biking (which for me is a huge accomplishment as I will worry about the smallest things). As ironic as it may seem, it was quite relaxing. Maybe that means I should push myself a bit more next time, but I’ll let you all judge that for yourselves ;). Anyways, I’m happy to note my two fastest miles were my 7th and 8th miles (4:58 and 4:41 respectively) and that although it is a bit tiring, I probably could have gone another ten miles if I needed to! I think I will be incorporating this into my exercise from now on!
