Tired Today

Well, after St. Patrick’s day, and very little sleep I kind of figured today’s would be a pretty hard run.  Not only was it hard, my I forgot to charge my Garmin watch and it ran out of batteries after the first mile. Either way I am still keeping my word on the challenge to lose 2 lbs with Beth at weight4us.wordpress.com!  I ended up treating it as a walk and only ran for a few minutes.  I will provide the Garmin statistics for the first mile.  Overall, I walked around 2.6 miles.

Results:

Starting Weight: 296.3 lbs

Current Approx. Weight: 225.3 lbs

Distance: 1.0 mi

Total Time: 15:41

Average Mile pace: 15:41/mi

Fastest Mile pace: 13:08/mi

Average Speed: 4.0 mph

Average Heartrate: 123 bpm

Calories burned: 188

So definitely not the best workout but hopefully the weekend will give me some time to recover!

Workout Song of the Day: “Sweet Home Alabama” by Lynard Skynard

One of my favorite southern rock songs and one of the first ones I learned to play on the guitar!  Hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.
